The Dream Team
While Lynne doesn’t necessarily want you to do the math, she’s been a creative force in the digital marketing world since pretty much its inception. Lynne started Rival in 2004 after years working as a creative director and copywriter at a number of agencies including Wunderman Cato Johnson, Think New Ideas, BaseSix and Digitas on accounts ranging from American Express to LL Bean, HBO, FedEx, AT&T, National Geographic Channel and many more. Lynne wanted to run a small agency with big ideas in a nimble, creative environment where people worked hard but had a life outside of the office that would inspire new ideas inside the office.
Lynne’s second company, how2heroes, was established in 2007 after Lynne saw a need for a site that celebrated food and its heroes and showed, step by step, through high quality video, how to succeed in the kitchen. Lynne’s expertise in the online space and her passion for food which she inherited from everyone’s favorite hero, Bea Viera, inspired her to become a serial entrepreneur.
Today the expertise of both Rival and how2heroes marry perfectly and enable us to offer a unique range of services to clients no other agency can offer – Digital Agency, Original Content Producer (videos and recipe) & Media Channel.
Lynne is a bit of a ham and has done countless cooking videos on how2heroes. Take a look.

Craig Kimberleyhow2heroesDirector of Photography / Aspiring F1 DriverGas Pedal vs Brake Pedal
As Director of Photography, Craig is responsible for setting up the actual shoots — from framing up the shots to lighting the space to making the talent & featured dish or product look its best, it’s Craig’s eyes we’re watching the videos through.
Craig became a camera-freak at a very early age (see photo of him at Myopia Polo as a child, taking photos). Born in Salem MA, Craig's family ventured south to Va when he was seven. Growing up as an avid skater, he was introduced to the video camera, and it has since never left his hands. After moving to New Mexico, Craig switched from a music major to Film & Television, and a "focus" in photography. It was in Albuquerque where his true love for hot food took off, after being introduced to the New Mexican Red and Green chili pepper. He calls himself, a "cracked pepper head" for his passion for hot foods of the world.
After a three year stint touring in a 3-piece power-blues trio throughout the Southwest, he returned to Virginia to produce and direct multiple fishing shows, TV pilots, and music videos. In 2006 Craig began producing online exclusive videos for the Virginian-Pilot, with topics ranging from comedy skits, to his favorite food spots, to celebrity interviews, to original recipes. During his years in Norfolk, Va, he created, as a "one-man-band", over 500 videos for the web. Between 2009 and 2012, he was once again a "solo production house" for Eastern Virginia Medical School's marketing and communications department, where he recieved multiple awards for his videos. In 2011 Craig won 5 Telly Awards for his videography, editing, and production. His plan is to win dozens more from inside the walls of how2heroes and Rival Digital Marketing!
